Hmm, what about those 10000 sales to one store (Meltdown Comics in LA)? Well, they had an exclusive cover for issue one, which hasn't been included here, as they were sold at a higher discount than the normal edition, ... I can't imagine direct-market retailers ordering Archie #600 in these numbers as anything but a collectible , not as a book; it's a black-bagged Death-of-Superman #75.
