There’s some good parties being thrown down East of the Mississippi today … Acme Comics in Greensboro, NC is hosting an all-day signing party featuring a cavalcade of kids-friendly comics creators, including Chris Giarrusso (G-MAN, MINI-MARVELS), writer Gregg Schigel and artist Jacob Chabot (X-BABIES), Art Baltazar (PATRICK THE WOLF BOY, TINY TITANS), and Brian Smith (STUFF OF LEGEND, THE BASICS). Comic Book Club Live

This coming Tuesday, I’ll be the guest on Comic Book Club Live . I’ve talked a bit about this crew before, they’re a good group of guys who put together a show interviewing comics creators and comedians to talk about their projects. They also have a vidcast called The Stack , which is a lot of fun. The show’s happening on October 6th, 8pm at the People’s Improv Theatre . Tickets are only $5.
