Geek Goggle Reviews: Criminal The Sinners #2
Brandon Borzelli's Geek Goggle Reviews Criminal: The Sinners #2 Icon (Marvel Comics) Brubaker & Phillips As the second issue of Criminal: The Sinners unfolds we, the reader, begin to understand that Tracy's investigation isn't as straight forward as connecting a couple of deaths together. We, as the reader, are also lucky because we get a glimpse into the who the killer may be which allows us to understand just how close or far Tracy is from cracking the case. The comic has a terrific narrative as Tracy runs all the possibilities through his head. While, in the shadows of the scenes Tracy leaves behind we, the audience, are allowed to see what Tracy just barely missed by walking away. It's a great story and manages to draw the reader in and see things as Tracy sees them and then as a fly on the wall sees them. This is an outstanding issue

The Cast of Characters to Be Cast in ‘The Green Lantern’
The pre-production world of The Green Lantern went rather quiet after Ryan Reynolds landed the titular role. No one else has been cast, and the biggest news to follow Reynolds was that the filming had moved from Australia to New Orleans, thanks to the rising Australian currency. But SpoilerTV has landed the open casting sheet which reveals just who we can expect to see alongside the Emerald Knight. The lead female character will be Carol Ferris , who is described as "26-32, a smart an

Review: Alice in Sunderland hardcover (Dark Horse Comics)
[This review comes from Loki Carbis, an Australian pop culture junkie, who cannot resist a good graphic novel. He lives at The Centre Cannot Hold on the web, and in his own imagination, among others.] Somewhere right about the middle of Alice in Sunderland , Bryan Talbot shows himself beginning to lose faith in the project. It's large and complex and may not have an audience. But then Scott McCloud appears to him in a vision, and reminds him that comics can be about anything.
